Just a quick note... I'm crazy busy. With my Pomeranians, and Leisure Audio Books. Exciting times on our little ranch out here in Wild Wonderful Wyoming.

I made a really cool new banner for my main site. I think I'm going to put it out there as a splash page as well... or possibly the entry page. I love it... so I just have to share it....lol...

Of course it would be larger as a splash page. But it looks pretty good even this small. It has Veretekk as my Featured Marketing system; and Leisure Audio Books as my featured business. Of course my Pomeranians are the Main Event. What else would it be...lol...

I love the picture of Min Min in the middle of it. She is such a beautiful girl. She had been out playing in the yard, of course her neck ruff was a mess....lol... she came over and stretched out on her tummy and I took her photo.. beautiful beautiful girl...

I'm pretty excited about Leisure Audio Books both as a viable business opportunity and as an excellent product line. They actually have over 6000 titles. Everything from dog training, business books, The Secret, to romances, westerns, thrillers, and so on.

I listened to a number of the intros and there is good sound quality as well.

Pre-launch and new launch foo-for-all

On a business note. I see pre-launch and brand new launch this that and the other thing all over the place.

Some of these may be great, some may be total crap. Keep in mind that if they are actually new launches or pre-launches. They really do not have a track record. The figures they are throwing around don’t mean much of anything. Yes I’ve gotten caught up in the frenzy before.

Before you add something to your business portfolio ask yourself if this is a program or product you want to represent. Does this program/product/system add to your portfolio or is it a detriment to what you are working for. What is your niche? How does said program/product fit into it. Is it a positive representation of your business.
I work with a variety of programs, and in truth there are some that are going to be trimmed from my portfolio. I’ve been at it with a machete whacking off dead branches, so to speak. Sculpting my online presence. That is an on going process. My business is a growing thing, and like a hedge sometimes it needs trimmed, pruned, watered and fertilized.

I’ve been using Veretekk to help grow my business. Truthfully it’s been extremely useful. I’ve risen in the search engines over the past few months. First I went after my name. Mary E. Robbins, happily I am on the first pages now, in both google and yahoo. I was clear back on page 10 in yahoo and farther back in google. Then I went after robbinsrun, again I’m on the first pages. I am starting after another set of key words now. It’s a learning process. Speaking of which there is very useful training at Veretekk. I am learning seo (search engine optimization) at veretekk. Frankly the best way to start is with the free membership, take some time learn your way around then upgrade to gold when you are ready. I have one gold account and several free silver ones that I am optimizing for various projects. What can I say... it works.

News and Notes... what is your focus?

Yes I am still ranting. What about? Branding.

What's that you say. No... not sticking a hot iron on your backside. I'm talking about branding yourself on the internet. If I put your name into a search engine what would come up. Would it be you?

I've been running at warp 9 for days. Taking care of my hairballs, doing client interviews, photographing Pomeranians, uploading pics, and editing. In the process I came through a nasty allergic reaction, and dropped 7 pounds. Could have done without the allergic reaction, and could stand to drop 150 more pounds. It's taken me a long time to come this far in my recovery process after having West Nile then major surgery, infections and the whole bit. It's wonderful to feel my body and mind coming alive and gaining momentum.

What does this have to do with business? It has to do with focus. Where is your focus. Where your focus is is where your life/business goes. My focus was on illness then recovery. Now it's on living and my business.

Where is your focus? What is your primary business. What is your passion?

Ah come on. Keep it clean. You know what I mean.

In my marketing efforts I come across a multitude of websites and adverts. Most are cookie cutter sites, with nothing of the person marketing them apparent at all. Only the original site creator's presence is there.

Meanwhile the person marketing that site is wondering why they aren't gaining any momentum; and are still spending more than they are making.

Something to think about.

Marketing you. Branding you. What is your presence on the Internet? What is your business? Don't know? Ask yourself what your passion is. What do you know about, or what would you like to know about? Is it marketable?

What?! You thought success on the Internet was instant and anonymous. Only in fairytales.

Questions of the Day: Who are you? What is your focus? What does your presence say about you?

Yes I know it's scary to put yourself out there. Look they are only people. Well hmmm... I don't know about that ... I can be a Troll at times... lol... purple hair... green eyes... long yellow fangs... Then the sun comes up and I turn back into myself... lol...

Absolutely Beautiful Healthy Happy Hairballs... otherwise known as Pomeranians are our Passion. As a dog breeder I have specialized in Pomeranians; and have over 30 years experience.

Our Poms are AKC registered, vaccinated, and microchipped. I have Standard, parti, & exotic coat colors available. Absolutely wonderful dogs... but of course I would think so...lol...

News and Notes... Up Before Dawn...

Ok so my computer is puttzing around… actually it’s just taking a while for my Freeffa Site from Veretekk to load because of the number of leads in there.

I was up before dawn stuck it’s rosy nose over the horizion. Tongue in cheek sarcastic this morning as well… in truth my attitude is more like up before the butt crack of dawn this morning.

Awwwww…. First sip of hot black strong coffee… I should have brewed that coffee sooner… Actually life’s not so bad… I woke up at 3:30 this morning. Forget going back to bed… as tired as I may be my mind is whirring all over the place. Forget sleeping when that’s going on. Ping… bounced off that wall… ping… there we go off the other wall… mind only … the body is like …. Oh please… get a grip… meanwhile I’m in here going… will you 2 just work together… geez… then the project crowd starts in… me first… no me first… but you know you wanted this done yesterday… gets kind of noisy in here… kind of… yeah right… like a football stadium on super bowl Sunday. Leads have loaded… pretty cool… around 9000 in there today.

Just heard a meadowlark sing. Love that sound… beautiful… I don’t know which birds they were… but some were trilling about when I first got up at 3:30 a.m. … the roosters were crowing too… that always makes me smile even if I am crabbier than a pissed off camel on acid.
Coffee is kicking in and the clamor is quieting down. In truth it’s been a busy productive week. Frankly it won’t be slowing down this weekend.

Must blast out the door before it heats up... mama dogs to let run... boarding dogs to exercise... photos to edit... there are some useful posts and tools on my blogs... I'll be uploading Pomeranian pics on my main site and The Arfing News later today... Have a great week... links for the tools mentioned above on my blogs as well...

Who Do You Work For? Who Are You?

Wow it’s already May 18th. Part of my daily routine is to check ads, upload the leads my Veretekk System has generated and post to my blogs. As well as kennel care, editing photos, doing interviews for puppy placements, and so on.

I’ve noticed so many ads are exactly the same. I see this in the Free Advertising Blog I use as well as throughout the other ad systems I use.

I have one main question for you.

Who are you working for?

Are you working for the various mlm or affiliate programs you are selling, or are you working for yourself? Who are you? Why should I buy from you?

I am not saying to not use splash pages or banners. I use them both. Of course I do.

Another burning question. Where is your webpage, your blog? Why aren’t your links in those ads. Are these programs that you are recommending, or are you simply a member of that company’s sales crew? Something to think about. Brand yourself! No not with a hot iron.

Brand yourself on the internet. Yes it takes work. Yes you may have to develop some additional skills. I wasn’t born with internet skills… yet mine are developing.
